St. James Town Time-Lapse

This film was created in partial fulfilment of a York University Additional Qualifications course (Integrating ICT into Instruction, Part Two).  I explain the harrowing journey of my first attempt at time-lapse in the article below the imbedded video.  You can click on the text to enlarge it.

Tilt Shift. Rose Avenue in Miniature.

For the next 24 hours, I'm shooting a time lapse video of St. James Town.  If the project works out, it'll be really cool.  Until then, my favourite computer is indisposed.  What's a geek to do?  As I wait for my camera to capture all 1080 stills for this 45 second video, I'm taking a break from homework to play with Photoshop.  I'm making tilt-shift pictures with photographs I've already taken (faking shallow depth of field to simulate miniature scenes).  There's a pretty good tutorials all over the Internet.  It's a good way to spend a Monday morning.
