Hey Miss. Bromley,

Today in science I learned that we have 4 chambers to our heart. The right & left atriums and the left & right ventricles. The right sise recives oxygen poor blood and sends it to the lungs and the left side recives the oxygen rich blood from the lungs and sends it around the body. The heart is a muscle the size of your fist! The heart is located center left on the top of your body just a little below the neck.

The things I learned about the heart are that in a day the heart pumps more than 3 000 times.I also learned that the heart is made of muscles, veins, tissue and lots of blood.Another thing is that if you smoke, your heart and blood vessels may be damaged. Finally the sound of what you think is the heart,it is really the mitral valve, the tricuspid valve, the aortic valve and the pulmonary valve opening and closing.

lungs
Breathing is all about respiratory system, the respiratory system is made out of the trachea, the lungs and the diaphragm.
When you breathe in oxygen the mucle called diaphragm contracts and will be pulling air in through our nose, our mouth and our trachea. And then the diaphragm pushes the cabon-dioxid out our nose.
There is a small tube inside our lungs that is as small as a string of hair and it's called bronchioles, there is 30,000 bronchioles in our lungs and there is 600 million air sacs in our bronchioles. We have to excercise to bring in more oxygen and if we do not have any oxygen we can't even stay alive!

I learn that a mother is a important device inside a computer.
I also learned that you should never trust a fan inside of a computer because it will burn out!
